Imukusi is a highly accomplished and passionate health practitioner with over 13 years of experience in the health sector. His career spans clinical medicine, pharmacy, and public health, giving him a unique and holistic perspective on healthcare delivery.

Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB), Copperbelt University
Bachelor of Pharmacy, University of Zambia
Master’s in Public Health, University of Liverpool
Imukusi has worked across diverse healthcare settings, gaining exposure to various treatment modalities. Throughout his career, he has witnessed firsthand how reactive healthcare systems struggle to meet the needs of communities. This has fuelled his dedication to preventive health solutions, helping individuals and families detect and address health risks before they become crises. His guiding motto, “Prevent what you can and leave the rest to God,” reflects his deep commitment to empowering people with proactive health knowledge and tools. Imukusi believes that prevention is not just about saving costs—it’s about saving lives, strengthening families, and securing a healthier future for Zambia. When he is not advocating for preventive care, Imukusi enjoys mentoring young healthcare professionals, engaging in community outreach programs, and spending quality time with his family.

Talent is an internationally experienced health professional with over 11 years of experience spanning Zimbabwe, the UK, and beyond. Known for his public health and diagnostics expertise, Talent has become a leading advocate for preventive care and non-communicable disease management in underserved populations. Talent is passionate about fighting the silent epidemic of NCDs, such as diabetes and hypertension, which devastate families and strain healthcare systems. By combining early diagnostics, health education, and technology, he aims to reduce hospital visits, empower families, and create a culture of health-conscious living.

In addition to his medical and public health work, Talent is a serial Pan-African entrepreneur driven by a passion for social impact and innovation. He firmly believes that Africa’s challenges require African-led solutions, combining local knowledge, expertise, and innovation to address health disparities across the continent. His ventures aim to create sustainable, community-driven solutions that empower African families, workplaces, and communities to thrive. Talent’s vision for Hamit Health Plus is clear: transforming Zambia’s healthcare landscape by placing prevention at the centre of care. Outside his professional life, Talent is a lifelong learner, a mentor to aspiring health leaders, and a dedicated advocate for social impact. He enjoys travelling, exploring innovative health solutions, and spending time with his family.
